Mike has been developing large scale web sites for over a decade now, first with Java and now with Ruby. He’s spoken at RubyConf, RailsConf Europe, OSCON and other technology conferences on various subjects. He invented the world’s first asynchronous Rails application, which provides great scalability improvements over traditional Rails applications. When he’s not working, he’s usually cleaning up behind the whirlwind of a family that is his wife, son, dog and cat.

Ian has been developing Ruby and Rails applications for nearly 5 years now. Before Ruby, he was a Java developer. His background also includes Linux system administration (he was running Linux on his computer in 1995, as a high-schooler). He enjoys solving interesting problems and has been doing Objective-C development as of late. Ian previously worked as a developer for RightScale, Rackspace and FiveRuns. He enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 (soon to be 3) wonderful kids.

Rath has over 13 years of experience in system architecture, web application development, and infrastructure support. He has spent the better part of the past four years deploying Ruby on Rails solutions for fast growing companies. When not posing as a technology geek, Rath continues his endless quest for life simplification.
